Dorset elementary teacher leads by example
Maybe it was the fact that he was tired of being compared to one of the Three Stooges due to his floppy hairstyle that Dorset Elementary physical education teacher Scott Taylor decided to get his locks cut off but it was likely as a result of the Baie d'Urfe elementary school raising almost $2,000 from the successful Terry Fox Run that saw students and staff walk, run or bike almost 3,000 km for the cause.
The physical educator led his locks grow throughout the challenge but last week, some of Taylor's students took to his head, leaving him with a reverse Mohawk style that was quickly replaced by a short cut by Taylor's son Kobe.
And while Taylor quipped that some people “may think I still look like a Stooge, I'd be willing to do it again because it's for a great cause and I'm really proud of the students."
