Vannelli hits the Rialto

Grammy-nominated, Juno award-winner, singer-songwriter Gino Vannelli and his band will return to Montreal to perform at the Rialto Theatre on November 2 and 3. Renowned for his sensuous and soaring vocal performances, the Rialto is proud to welcome Gino Vannelli back to his hometown to serenade his many fans. For the two-night event, Vannelli will take the stage with a seven-piece band to perform his most memorable songs. Vannelli confided, “I love the Rialto Theatre. It’s a beautiful, historic specimen of a theatre … I can’t wait to perform there!” Dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., doors open at 7:30 with the show starting at 8:30.
Recently, Vannelli has been touring the world: Japan, Norway, the Ukraine, Italy, and Holland, to name a few, and will be performing in Chile in 2014. Having just returned from a sold-out performance at the Metropolitan Theatre in Mexico City, Vannelli will be touring multiple cities in Ontario just prior to his performances in Montreal at the Rialto.
Since Gino Vannelli’s 1973 debut release, Crazy Life, he has remained one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music. Vannelli is the recipient of multiple Canadian Juno awards, has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and has sold over 10 million records worldwide, with hits including “I Just Wanna Stop,” Living Inside Myself,” “People Gotta Move,” “The Wheels of Life”, “Black Cars “and many more.
